About Us
SCOUTS South Africa is the biggest youth organisation in the country with over 34 000 children, youths and adults nationwide. We are open for all children (5-6 and 7-10), teens (11-17), youths (18-30) and adults who want to embrace their adventurous spirit, enjoy challenging activities and make a positive impact on their communities.
Scouting changes lives and  helps children and young adults to reach their full potential. Leadership abilities, teamwork,  self-motivation, commitment, perseverance, environmental and cultural awareness and strong values are just a few of the life skills our members acquire whilst having fun and ‘learning by doing’.
Positive peer pressure and outdoor activities all contribute to individuals growing up with the belief that they can and are changing the world in order to leave it a better place than how they found it.

Testimonials
Maturity and Strength
"I have watched her grow from strength to strength and seen her pride develop. I could not be more thankful to the team for helping my daughter grow into a healthy and well developed young adult. Her sense of community is inspiring and I know the lessons she has learned will prepare her for a life better led."

Making his Mark
"This journey has been amazing to watch. He has become a hive of information and is enjoying every Friday evening with his troop. His energy and commitment are a joy to watch and collecting badges certainly has prompted him to help make his mark. Thank you to all the leaders for their help."Â
S. Hopeful
Future Scouter
"I have watched them grow from insecure little children, to well rounded and self-secured individuals. Not afraid to use their voices and lend a hand when the opportunity presents itself.
From Cubs to Scouts, both my children have flourished under the leadership at 1st Naruna Constantia."
